Although the water can be a little chilly this time of year boating in December could not be better! Temperatures so far this month have hit an average high of 77 degrees with little, if any cloud cover, making for beautiful days on the water. Wildlife viewing has been spectacular with dolphins actually seeming to be more active as of late. On a recent charter there was a decent size pod of dolphins actually jumping 5-6 feet out of the water!
December also offers a quieter time on Siesta Key translating to much less boat traffic on the bay and inland waters as well as near shore rides into the gulf. If you haven't been out on a boat in the Sarasota area I encourage you to do so, if you are unsure or uncomfortable assuming the wheel give me a call. I love showing visitors and locals the area by water. When you book an outing with us we do all the work and you can truly "leave your worries at the dock"!!
