Christmas on Siesta Key!

Its officially Christmas time on Siesta Key. One trip down Midnight Pass Rd after sunset and you will have no doubts that the Christmas season is in full bloom with much of the stretch lit up in celebration of the holiday season. Key Life Charters was very proud to be the Santa float in this past Saturdays "light the village" parade. As we turned the corner at Foxy Lady boutique and got our first view of the heart of the village it really hit home what a special time of the year it is for families living in, and visiting this area! Santa Claus is truly a rock star and it was so much fun to see the reactions of all the children along the way.

Tree lightings, parades and festivals are happening all over the area not only this weekend but over the next several days and weekends ahead! The weather as of late could not be better with abundant sunshine and warm, but not hot temperatures during the day and "long sleeve" temperatures at night.

Now is a great time to be here and I encourage everyone to look up "festivals" or "Christmas activities" through your preferred search engine to see a comprehensive list of all the things that are going on during the holiday season.

Its also a great time to be out on the area waters. With much less boat traffic and abundant wildlife now is a great time to book a relaxing day on the water. Just yesterday I was out with friends and the dolphins were putting on quite a display of acrobatic jumps in the gulf.

Whatever event or activity you choose you can't miss right now, Siesta Key and the surrounding area is alive with fun, family based activities that celebrate the Christmas season. So get up, get out and take advantage of all that this incredible area has to offer!!
